** Bundled discounts apply when multiple services are purchased/renewed together. The discount only applies to the services of equal or lesser value. Adding computers to prior purchased services and/or renewing prior purchased services do not qualify as an additional service.
Subscription overview information
GFI Cloud subscription licenseGFI Cloud services are licensed with a subscription model. In the subscription model, the customer pays only one annual fee. That fee includes the right to use the service, as well as all updates, upgrades and technical support for the duration of the subscription. If a customer purchases a multi-year subscription, the additional years are discounted (the 2nd year is discounted approximately 10% and the 3rd year is discounted approximately 20%). This pricing is reflected in the price book.
The first time a customer licenses a particular GFI Cloud service, a license key is generated that determines the services licensed in GFI Cloud, the number of units of each service and the length of the subscription. The GFI Cloud software is activated automatically, and users will not need to enter their license key.
Since there can only be one license key for GFI Cloud, the services of all licenses must end on the same date. As a result, the license price of add-on licenses and additional service options (not all services have options) are licensed so that the end dates of the GFI Cloud services, any add-ons and additional service options are the same.
Customers can license as many units of the services subject to quantity minimums. Minimums will vary based on the service and are indicated in the GFI Software price list.
Additional service units (add-ons) or adding additional service options to a GFI Cloud serviceAdd-ons increase the quantity of licenses a customer has on a particular GFI Cloud service; an additional service option is a feature that enhances the GFI Cloud service but that GFI Software does not include in the service’s subscription price. Should the customer require that functionality, the customer would license the service option at an additional charge.
GFI Cloud returnsGFI Software has a no return policy. Customers have 30 days to fully evaluate the software to determine if it meets their needs. Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or returned.
